This role provides an opportunity to join this team at an exciting time of development, delivering some extraordinary projects. The role of the Quantity Surveyor is broad and provides an excellent opportunity to develop your already established quantity surveying skills, incorporating estimating, project managing, appointing subcontractors, procuring materials, financial reporting, valuation submissions and final account negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be part of a team of people who are responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of commercial and bespoke Fitout Services. Your role will include, but will not be limited to the following:

• Assist in the preparation and coordination of tenders for submission
• Prepare and manage subcontract and material procurement
• Assist in negotiation of contract sum
• Oversee measures and report variances
• Prepare valuations for interim applications
• Prepare supporting documentation for the client and their consultants
• Produce Bills of quantities
• Monitor costs to ensure budgets are met and attend regular finance meetings
• Liaise closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to record all variation items
• Monitoring sub-contractor accounts
• Preparation and submission of weekly financial reports to client and client QS
• Monthly cost/value reconciliations
• Monitoring cash collection
• Finalising of project accounts
• Managing several projects at different stages at any one time
• Providing commercial support to the team
• Promote best practice in Health, Safety and Environmental matters
• Monitoring compliance of projects and following company procedures and best practice
• Site visits and team liaison
• Regular and accurate reporting to the Surveying Manager, Financial Controller and Managing Director


• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
• 3 years industry experience in Quantity Surveying
• Strong Commercial Awareness
• Project Estimating Skills
• Sound Project Management
• Extensive understanding of Construction Industry
• Excellent negotiating and communication skills
• Accurate financial reporting
• Strong IT literacy, especially Microsoft Office and Excel Packages
• Full driving licence and access to vehicle
